This remarkable place in Gujarat is a massive salt desert that measures around ten thousand square kilometers. An amazing about this place is that it goes underwater when the monsoon season sets in at full force. The rest of the year, the Rann of Kutch remains an enormous desert of salt. The Rann Utsav is an awesome festival that takes place every year. It is a carnival full of music and dance. It appears even more mesmerizing than usual if you witness it under the full moon. The Rann Utsav is so charming that it makes you believe that heaven descended on Earth.

Detailed Rann of Kutch Itinerary

Day 0 : Friday

23:00 Hrs : Meet the Treks and Trails Team at  Bandra Terminus and Catch 22903/ BDTS BHUJ SF Exp.

Day 1 : Saturday

Reach Samkhiali by 10:30 am. Proceed towards Dholavira. Check in to your rooms and fresh up.

Get ready to explore Indus Valley civilisation site at Dholavira. Dholavira is an ancient archaeological site located in the Rann of Kutch region in the state of Gujarat, India. It is one of the five largest Harappan (Indus Valley Civilization) sites and represents one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in India, dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization, around 2650 to 1450 BCE. It features a well-preserved urban layout with a citadel, middle town, and lower town. Indulge in history of Harappan. Visit Museum to get more insight about ancient civilisation. Later, We Visit Karni temple in the evening and enjoy sunset view. Get back to stay. Have Dinner. Interested people can opt for night ride to Road to Heaven For full moon dates only.

Day 2 : Sunday

Watch Sunrise from Dholavira in the morning. Later have breakfast and proceed towards Rann of Kutch. Enjoy the drive on road to heaven. Enroute visit kalo dungar, The highest point in Kutch region. Check in, Have lunch and rest for a bit. In the evening visit White Rann. The White Rann of Kutch is a stunning natural wonder located in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. This vast, shimmering salt desert stretches for miles and comes to life during the annual Rann Utsav festival, attracting tourists from all over the world. The stark, white landscape, with its unique topography, is a captivating sight, especially during the full moon nights when it appears to glow ethereally.  Watch the mesmerising sunset from Rann. Have fun watching live art performances. Try shopping at stalls for local handicrafts and souvenirs. Come back to hotel and have dinner.

Day 3 : Monday

Wake up at 7 am and freshen up. Have breakfast by 8.00 am. Check out and move toward  Bhuj to explore famous destinations. Visit Adiyogi Statue, Khari Nadi either Chhatedi. Have lunch and proceed towards Bhuj station.

Catch 22904 BHUJ BDTS SF Exp at 4 pm.

Day 4 : Tuesday

Reach Borivali by 4 am and Bandra by 4:50 am.

    • 50% refund if notified via phone conversation 45 or more days prior to the event date.
    • 40 % refund if notified via phone conversation 16 to 44 days prior to the event date.
    • No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 15 days prior to event date

    • Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.

    Important Note

    • Participants must carry cash in order to survive and buy anything at Rann. Except high end luxury hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops, plastic money such as credit card and debit card is not accepted throughout Rann.
    • ATM’s are common only in Bhuj, and beyond that finding ATM is also difficult.
    • Avoid wearing precious Jewelry, as TNT won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
    • Please make sure you report at the start location as per the itinerary. No refunds would be entertained by TNT. Consult your TNT buddy in advance in case of any changes.
    • Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Anybody found consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

    Food is vegetarian; non-vegetarian options are not available during Rann Utsav. In fact, except for Mandvi Beach, it is difficult to get non-vegetarian food in Kutch.

    Bhuj junction is 104 kilometres from Rann of Kutch and will take 2 hours to reach. Bhuj train station is well-connected to many other cities, and the route there is well-maintained.
