This world famous glacier is a trekker’s paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped Nanda Devi and Nandakot mountains. The river Pindar originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude of 3353 meters. The entire trekking tour route is beautiful and very scenic.

About Kathgodam
Kathgodam is a small town of Nainital district in the state of Uttarakhand. It is part of the twin territorial division of Haldwani and Kathgodam. It is famous for its natural beauty as it is located on the foothills of Himalayas. The environment of the town is calm and pleasant for tourism throughout the year. It is located at an altitude of 554 meters from the sea level. The temperature ranges from 15 to 30°C during summers and 0 to 24°C during winters. The major languages that are spoken in this town are Kumauni, Garhwali and Hindi.

About: Khati is the biggest village that you will come across on the trek to Pindari Glacier. The trail passes through thick forest of Rhododendrons. It is the last village en route Pindari and Kafni glacier. Khati is situated on the banks of Pindar River. It is believed that the hospitable villagers are descendents of the race who provided pandavas with shelter. Overnight stay will be in Khati. Lunch and Dinner in Khati
Day 03
- Trek from Khati to Dwali (2,575)

About: Today's trek goes along with Pindar River with two wooden bridges to cross. Overnight stay at Dwali rest house and tents. Lunch and Dinner at Khati
Day 04: Trek from Dwali to Phurkia (3,250mts)
Trekking 5 kms
Level Moderate
About:The 5 km trek from Dwali to Phurkia is steep and graded at moderate level. Cross the frozen stream and see the dwindling of forest as you climb. Phurkiya is the last place en route Pindari. There is beautiful waterfall just before Phurkia where you can rest for a while. Phurkia is a picturesque place blessed with natural beauteousness.

Trek from Phurkia to Zero Point and back to Phurkia

Level : Moderate.
About:Trek from Phurkia to Zero Point of Pindari Glacier is visually captivating as it offers spectacular view of the mighty Himalayan range. Start early if you want to spend more time at the Zero Point. The mouth of the Pindari Glacier is named as Zero Point and it situated at an astounding elevation of 3,660mts above sea level. One kilometre before the Zero Point you will see a Baba house who serves food to the people who makes it upto there. Trekking further from Zero Point on Pindari Glacier requires special equipments and experience. After exploring the praiseworthy beauty of Pindari Glacier trek back to Phurkia. Overnight stay in Phurkia.
Day 06: Trek from Phurkia to Khati
Trekking 17 Km – most of it is down hill

Driving: 70 Km Overnight stay at Bageshwar
Day 08
Travel Bageshwar to Nainital with overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 09: Sightseeing around Nainital Late Evening move to Kathgodam
Driving: 35 km
