Reaching Bhagamandala Forest Range
Bhagamandala is situated at a distance of around 284 km from Bangalore via NH 48. This forest range is a small place in Kodagu District of Coorg in Karnataka along the river Cauvery bank. On the southern side of the trek is located in the Wayanad district of Kerala State.
From Bangalore, it will take around 8-hours to reach Bhagamandala. After reaching the forest range, trekkers need to take a permit from the forest department. From Bhagamandala, the trekking trail is at a distance of around 7 km accessible via Jeep. On the dirt road, jeep ride will take you to Tala Cauvery, the base of trekking camp.
