Nagzira wildlife sanctuary found between the Gondia and Bhandara district of Maharashtra. Declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1970. The park covers stretch over 116.54 sq km of land. Nagzira sanctuary also houses the temple of Nag and the temple of Mahadeo located in the middle of the park. Travelers are going to find a village in the forest known as Nangthana, which adds up with the name of the woods.

Nagzira Safari Itinerary
Day One - Welcome to Nagpur and First Evening Nagzira Tiger Safari
You will be picked up from Nagpur at 10 am and will then conveyed in a private car to the park. You are going to get to the resort by 1 pm, and you will then check-in and relax. After lunch, we will then gear up and go on the first wildlife safari. We will be back to the resort from the safari in the evening, and you can then take your dinner and rest.
Day Two - Today you will cover Morning and Evening Tiger Safari
You will have your breakfast early in the morning or take your breakfast with you on the safari because you will go on the second wildlife safari early in the morning. You will be back at the resort before lunch to rest and eat lunch. After lunch, you will then go on the third wildlife safari, which will take you till evening. You will then be back at the resort for dinner and to relax for the next day's activities.
Day Three - Last Morning Safari and Tiger Safari fun ends
You will go for your fourth wildlife safari early in the morning and be back at the resort to check out. You will also enjoy mouth-watering lunch and post-lunch travel to Nagpur airport or the junction by the private vehicle.

Biodiversity of Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary
Flora - The primary forest type in the park is the southern tropical dry deciduous forests, and about 200 plant species found in the park. It houses a diverse vеgеtаtіоn whісh rаngеѕ frоm drу mixed fоrеѕtѕ to moist fоrеѕtѕ. You are going to find grasses and bamboo in some parts of the forests. Some of the floras to be found here are Sal, Mahua, teak, palas, and so on.
Fauna - There are about 34 species of mammals in the park. Some of them are leopards, bison, tigers, barking deer, wild boars, spotted deer, sloth bears, jackals, and so on. The park also houses a wide range of bird species, which makes it an excellent spot for bird spotting activities. You are going to find more than 166 species of birds in the park. You wіll fіnd аrоund 15 ѕресіеѕ of mіgrаtоrу birds, and thеrе are аbоut 42 ѕресіеѕ оf lосаl mіgrаntѕ іn thе park. One of the most notable bird species in the park is the bar-headed goose, which migrates from Ladakh and Tibet and stays in the Chorkhamara tank found in the adjoining sanctuary.
The park also houses about 36 species of reptiles that belong to 2 natural orders and 11 families with about six species listed among the endangered status. Some of the Reptiles are rock python, Indian cobra, checkered keelback, Dhaman, Common monitor lizard, and Russel's viper.

- A-Mark Female Tigress Known as Mai, which means mother in Marathi, and it is a thing of beauty. She is about 16 years of age and the mother of Jai and Veeru. You are going to find a mark that looks like letter A on her body.
- Alfа Female, another mate of Dеndu and hаѕ, also mothered three litter.

Nagzira Safari Gates and Bookings
The park is divided into two main ranges and further into numerous gates. They are listed below.

There are gypsy and jeep safaris to take you around the park, and the safari timing depends mainly on sunrise and sunset. The morning jeep is from 6 am to 11 am while entry is allowed until 8 am. The afternoon jeep is from 2 pm to 6 pm while entry is allowed till 4.30 pm.
